초록 Objectives: The global dialysis market is steadily growing, with significant rapid growth, particularly in South Korea. The demand for travel dialysis for business/travel purposes is expected to increase, however, dialysis patients currently have too many things to consider when planning their trip. We aim to develop a Travel Dialysis Platform that supports patients to receive dialysis treatment at affiliated medical institutions without complicated procedures when they arrive locally. Methods: The establishment of a specialized network of medical institutions for travel dialysis is required. With the formation of WTDM (World Travel Dialysis Medical network), patient exchange is currently taking place between travel dialysis centers in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. Results: Travel dialysis has been slowed down for a while due to COVID-19, however, the need for travel dialysis is expected to increase as the number of travelers increases. Establishment of a system to digitalize and share patient information, so that patients can conveniently receive treatment at local clinics. Considering the health condition of chronic kidney disease patients, the priority is to expand the clinic network focusing on countries with a flight time of less than 3 hours. Conclusions: We aim to provide one-stop travel for chronic kidney disease patients by providing additional services that patients can use. Serve as a travel dialysis consultant to provide overall services available to dialysis patients, including medical institutions, medical staff, accommodations, restaurants, and cultural facilities. Due to the difficulty of long-term flights for chronic kidney disease patients, priority is given to expanding hospital networks mainly in Northeast Asian countries. After stabilizing the service, we will consider expanding the network to Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
