초록	Objectives : Carbon monoxide is responsible for a large number of accidental domestic poisoning and deaths throughout the world. Diffuse hypoxic brain injury due to carbon monoxide poisoning while using gas geyser is very well known. But carbon monoxide poisoning is an unusual cause of acute kidney injury. Methods : We report a case of 42-year-old woman patient presented with acute kidney injury due to carbon monoxide poisoning after charcoal burning suicide. Results : She developed acute kidney injury, rapidly declining renal function combined hyponatremia and hypokalemia. We treated hydration, corrected electrolyte. After aggressive therapy, acute kidney injury, hyponatremia, hypokalemia was recovered. Conclusions : The recognition of acute kidney injury due to carbon monoxide poisoning is important because acute kidney injury is a common and serious complication that is associated with high mortality rates in critically ill patients.
