초록	Objectives : Investigate the association and ability of SNST and NRS 2002 as a nutritional screening tool to predict malnutrition toward SGA and DMS as a nutritional assessment tool for hemodialysis patients in Dr. Sardjito Hospital Yogyakarta. Methods : This study was an observational study with a cross-sectional study design. Data were collected from 105 patients with CKD who undergoing routine hemodialysis in Dr. Sardjito hospital. The study population was selected using purposive sampling method. All subject’s nutritional status were screened by SNST and NRS 2002, then assessed by SGA and DMS. Further, an association of SNST and NRS 2002 to SGA and DMS were analyzed. Then, validity value of SNST and NRS 2002 were calculated toward SGA as a gold standard. Results : There is association (p<0.001) either SNST and SGA (PR=24.75) or NRS 2002 and SGA (PR=6.83); there is association (p<0.001) either SNST and DMS (PR=17.73) or NRS 2002 and DMS (PR=4.88); SNST has better validity than NRS 2002 toward SGA as a gold standard to predict malnutrition for hemodialysis patients. The validity value of SNST is Se 94.3%; Sp 60%; PPV 54.1%; NPV 95.4%; and AUC 0.847. Conclusions : Either SNST or NRS 2002 have an association with SGA and DMS. Ratio prevalence of SNST is higher than NRS 2002 generally. So, SNST is better than NRS 2002 to estimates malnutrition for hemodialysis patients. SNST also good predictor to predicts malnutrition for hemodialysis patients because it has better validity than NRS 2002 toward SGA as a gold standard.
