| 초록 | Objectives : Delayed graft function is a clinical term to describe the failure of the transplanted kidney to function immediately after transplantation. Poor kidney function of graft life is detrimental to the longevity of the allograft. It is commonly observed in deceased-donor renal transplantation (DDRT), owing to the prolonged cold ischemia time Methods : A 24-year-old man with ESRD of FSGS who suffered from a case of delayed graft function lasting forty-two days after deceased donor kidney transplantation. The transplant surgery was uneventful, but the patient was anuric postoperatively. Results : The patient had an ultrasound study, which revealed normal morphology, a resistive index of 69%, and good arterial and venous flow. Posttransplantation, the patient required dialysis every other day. The patient was given tacrobell and MMF (Mycophenolate mofetil). Conclusions : Forty-two days later, when his renal function was improving without dialysis. The patient has had full recovery without any episodes of acute rejection. |
