제목	Two Cases of Complications Associated with Carbon Monoxide Poisoning: Acute Kidney Injury, Rhabdomyolysis and Delayed Leukoencephalopathy

초록	Case Study : We report the two cases presenting with acute kidney injury, rhabdomyolysis and delayed leukoencephalopathy after carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning. They were admitted to our emergency department with loss of consciousness after exposure to CO during a suicide attempt. Laboratory findings revealed elevated carboxyhemoglobin level, serum creatinine and serum muscle enzymes. Initially, these cases were diagnosed with acute kidney injury and rhabdomyolysis complicating CO poisoning. After the managements including normobaric oxygen therapy and hydration, these cases completely restored to normal renal function and muscle enzyme with alert mental status. However, one month (case 1)/six month (case 2) after CO poisoning, these cases showed neuropsychiatric symptom. Brain magnetic resonance imaging showed white-mater hyperintensity. The diagnosis of delayed leukoencephalopathy after CO poisoning was assumed.
