초록	The Korean Society of Nephrology (KSN) piloted hemodialysis center accreditations five times since 2009. Based on these results, hemodialysis center accreditation over the country was performed in 2015 and two hundred twenty hemodialysis facilities obtained certification. Second evaluation started in September 2016 and the results are released in the 2017 annual meeting of KSN. 1) Progress Sending remainders: 2016. 10. 4. Application period: 2016. 10. 4. ~ 2016. 10. 22. (3 weeks) Evaluation ethics: 2016. 10. 24. ~ 2016. 10. 29. (1 weeks) Data input: 2016. 10. 31. ~ 2016. 11. 26. (4 weeks) Preliminary examination: 2016. 11. 28. ~ 2016. 12. 24. (4 weeks) Spot survey: 2016. 12. 26. ~ 2017. 1. 31. (5 weeks) Comprehensive evaluation: 2017. 2. 20. Request of complementary data and final evaluation: 2017. 3~4 Sending certificates: 2017. 5 2) Results Application for hemodialysis center accreditation: 69 facilities (Seoul 11, Incheon & Gyeonggi-do 10, Chungcheong-do 7, Busan & Gyeongsangnam do 8, Daegu & Gyeongsangbuk-do 8, Jeolla-do 4, Jeju-do 1) Withdraw applications: 33 facilities Evaluation of hemodialysis center: 36 facilities - Accreditation: 35 facilities, undecided: 1 facilities (Certification period: three years, 2017. 4. 1. ~ 2020. 3. 31) * The results are published on our website (https://ksn.nephline.com)
