| 초록 | "Renal infarction is rare and it’s clinical diagnosis is frequently missed or delayed. One of the major cause of renal infarction is cardioemblic disease, and it must be evaluated when renal infarction is diagnosed. We presented a case of renal infactionand with ascending aortic thrombosis and that was treated with emergnent surgery. 52 year old man with abdominal pain and numbness of left upper extremity was transfered to our emergency room because of renal infarction. His blood pressure greatly differed between upper extremities (Left arm 154/79 mmHg, right arm 116/68 mmHg) and his pulse was not palpable in the left arm. A CT-scan showed thrombus in the ascending aorta to aortic arch, and multifocal infarction in left kidney (Figre 1). A TEE reveled a huge, mobile mass attacehd on aorta. He underwent emergent surgery that mass removal from ascending aorta and patch angioplasty with intergard graft. Pathologically, mass was diagnosed as thrombus We report a rare case of acute renal infarction that caused by aortic thrombus. Because of renl infarction could be a form of symptomatic aortic thrombus, other symptoms of systemic embolism must be investigated." |
