제목	New Korean model of SDM for renal replacement treatments as an ethical approach

초록	Patients with end-stage renal disease are increasing as diabetes and hypertension and elderly patients are more prevalent. Information about renal replacement therapy that they should learn is too much to understand for uremic patients. However, the choice of therapeutic modality leads to one of the main factors in the future quality of their resting life. Korea has not our own models for helping patients` decision in terms of the ethical approach. This lecture will discuss the current situation, the data on survey of Korean nephrologists` perceptions and future suggestions.
